#34 Dwight D. Eisenhower
My wife and I visited the capital rotunda today where there are currently 6 POTUS statues: Washington, Jefferson, Garfield, Grant, Reagan, and Ike here. By the end of the month, they will also have Gerald Ford. Each state gets to have two statues located in the US capital and can swap them out at any time. POTUS statues wind up in the esteemed Rotunda while others are either in the old House of Representatives (now statutory hall) or the crypt. Mr. Eisenhower is also destined to get his own memorial on the national mall but it won't be completed for a few more years. By that time, the POTUS project will have long been completed. An interesting fact about the Reagan statue though: the base is made out of a piece of the Berlin wall.
